MDIS Tashkent opened admission for 2017 -2018 Academic Year on 1st of June, and today, after less than two weeks there are more than 630 potential candidates who have applied to MDIST so far. Applicants have an opportunity to apply online on the official MDIST website and at the campus of the institution. MDIS Tashkent is delighted to welcome various applicants from all backgrounds, from any small towns or urban cities.  

On 17th of May, MDIS Tashkent welcomed a writer, interpreter, and member of Uzbekistan Writers Council, Mrs. Makhsuda Akhmedova. Mrs. Akhmedova gave a speech on a recently adopted, new Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PD-4789, the main purpose of which is an active promotion of encouragement and culture of reading. The students and the staff members were involved in the discussion of the topic about the necessity of books reading and the need for their wide distribution all over the country.

Last week MDIST rector, Dr. Jasur Salikhov held two meetings concerning the new Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PD-2909 “On measures for further development of Higher Education System”.  During the meetings, Dr. Salikhov emphasized the historical importance of the newly adopted decree and its potential contribution to the educational development of Uzbekistan.
