ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2019

September 26-27, 2019. MDIS Tashkent students attended the
ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2019 - the most important annual event in the field of information and communication technologies in Uzbekistan, the framework of which included a summit, forum, the ICTEXPO 2019 exhibition, along with other IT-related events, awards and presentations.

"II Millenialls' Tourism Fest”

September 10-15, 2019. Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent hosted the international youth festival "II Millenialls' Tourism Fest” which aims to promote the outbound and inbound tourism and simultaneously serves as a platform for intercultural exchange and establishment of new relationships among countries and universities. 

A T-shirt painting master class for the participants of "II Millenials' Tourism Fest".

 

September 14, 2019. A T-shirt painting master class was held for the participants of "II Millenials' Tourism Fest". The event was organized with a kind suport of the "Masterskaya" gallery, which also provides the workshops in visual art, drawing and painting.

The class rendered by Borisova Ekaterina, Suvankulova Maftuna and Abdulina Zulfiya featured the basics of fabric painting design.

Nebrija University visit to MDIS Tashkent

September 12, 2019. MDIS Tashkent hosted a visit from the Nebrija University (Spain). The delegation was headed by Mr. Joaquín Espallargas Iberni, the Chairman of Nebrija University, who was accompanied by Ms. Saloomeh Yousefian and Ms. Lozano Sanchez.

II Millenials' Tourism Festival

The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development hosted the participants of "II Millenials' Tourism Festival" and kindly organized Tashkent and Samarkand city tours.
The State Committee has also offered the participants a concert, which took place in a newly opened Tashkent park “Navruz”. MDIS Tashkent expresses its sincere gratitude to the following representatives of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development:

Tourism team programme in action. Apart from the numerous cultural trips made by the members of MDIS Tashkent Tourism Team during the visit to Selcuk University located in Konya, the team members also had Turkish language classes with a truly dedicated professionals - Dr. Meral Doğru and Dr. Mehmet Kaya . Mehmet Kaya has also kindly presented the Turkish Language textbook written by him and academists from the  Turkish Language Teaching and Research Center.

Training of Mohammed Bin Rashid center

August 28, MDIST Tourism Innovation Co-learning Center took part in the training of Mohammed Bin Rashid center for government innovation (UAE) held for representatives of state bodies of Uzbekistan. The training was organized by the Ministry of Innovative development of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the purpose to improve the creative thinking skills and inculcate the culture of innovation into the government employees. At the end of the training, all representatives, including MDIST Tourism Innovation Co-learning Center, were awarded with memorable presents.

First UNWTO-ICCA master class on the Meetings industry

MDIS Tashkent Tourism Innovation and Co-learning Center took part in the first UNWTO-ICCA master class on the Meetings industry. The event was initiated by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development. The purpose of the training was to adopt the experience of leading international MICE experts for further enhancement of MICE tourism in Uzbekistan. At the end of the workshop, all tourism industry representatives including MDIST Tourism Innovation Co-learning Center were awarded wth certificates.
