The Memorandum of Understanding between MDIS Tashkent and the “PRIMECOACH” centre

On February 22, MDIS Tashkent received a delegation from the “PRIMECOACH” Language Centre (Tashkent) represented by the founder and managing director.

 

The major purpose of the visit was signing the Memorandum of Understanding between MDIS Tashkent and the “PRIMECOACH” centre, as well as discussion of details of mutual collaboration in terms of development and initiation of joint events and projects, organization of exclusive sessions for the “PRIMECOACH” students during the enrollment process. 

 

Online Session with Mr. Atahan Tosun

On February 26, 2019, MDIS Tashkent Tourism Innovation and Co-learning Center organized an Online Session with Mr. Atahan Tosun, a travel blogger and the founder of Indy Guide (Switzerland). Mr. Atahan Tosun holds his master's degree in Finance & Business Administration from the University of Zurich and University of Tulsa and has an extensive experience in the banking sphere of Switherland.

On February 20, MDIS Tashkent held a Comedy Show, performed by its students. 

Elsevier Training on “How to write and publish a good research paper”

On February 19, MDIS Tashkent held a training session on “How to write and publish a good research paper”. The session was organized for the faculty members, young researchers and students of the Institute.

The training was conducted by the representatives of Elsevier company:
- Aliya Ospanova, Regional Director, ELSEVIER International Scientific Database on Central Asia and Azerbaijan;
- Ozge Sertdemir, ELSEVIER Consultant on Iran, Central Asia, the Gulf;
- Dilnoza Allanazarova, ELSEVIER Coordinator in Uzbekistan.

MDIS Tashkent MBA Talks

On Friday, February 15th, MDIS Tashkent hosted the presentation of MBA programmes, provided jointly with the University of Sunderland (UK).

The Master of Business Administration course is a career changer that aims to accelerate the promotion to well-paid positions in management, develop priceless management skills and get a free access to a large business and alumni network.

Performance dedicated to Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur and Alisher Navoiy

On February 15th MDIS Tashkent organized a special performance dedicated to the anniversary of Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur and Alisher Navoiy.

Nizomiddin Mir Alisher, who wrote his poems under the pen-names of Navoi (in old Uzbek language) and Foni (in Persian language). Alisher Navoi is a great Uzbek poet, a representative of the Uzbek literature, called Chigatoy literature in the West. 

Career Talk with KPMG Uzbekistan

On February 14th, MDIS Tashkent hosted a workshop delivered by the KPMG AUDIT company representatives.

The seminar focused on the evaluation of job announcements, application and interview techniques, resume writing, job search strategies and practical job placement. 

MDIS Tashkent team expresses its sincere gratitude to KPMG Uzbekistan for such an informative and instructing workshop and is looking forward to future cooperation.

Memorandum of Cooperation with "Genius" Bukhara

On February 14th, MDIS Tashkent hosted a very special guest – Mr. Farkhad Kadirov, the head of “Genius English Courses”, one of the top notch language centres from Bukhara and an Executive Director of Teachers Development Testing Programme at UzTEA, who visited MDIS Tashkent campus with one of his successful graduates.

 

The prevention of juvenile delinquency

On February 11th, MDIS Tashkent hosted a lecture on the prevention of juvenile delinquency, kindly delivered by Mr. Abror Berdiyev, the Justice Adviser at Uchtepa district.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss questions pertaining to the specific measures adopted by the State to reduce the juvenile crime.

The seminar run in an interactive manner aroused great interest among MDIS Tashkent students, who were ready to share their personal considerations regarding this issue.
