ORIENTATION WEEK 2017 is designed to assist you in having your most memorable experience in your university life. It is a compulsory event for all freshmen. Orientation Week is held during September 18- 22, a week before classes start. Orientation Week offers you social, sporting, study and support sessions and events to help you get familiar with the campus, fellow students and members of the campus community, get prepared for study, find out who’s there to help and most importantly have fun and where to go to meet different needs you might have as a student.

For the execution of the Presidential Decree № PD-5177 from September 2, 2017 "On Priority Measures for the Liberalization of the Currency Policy", MDIS Tashkent will charge all services in Uzbek soums, the national currency of Republic of Uzbekistan starting from September 5, 2017.
We are delighted to announce that MDIS Tashkent in collaboration with Tashkent State University of Economics and State Committee of Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan is going to hold an International Conference on “International Experience in Development of Tourism Business and Prospects of its use in Uzbekistan” on October 6, 2017.
Last weekend, on August 19- 20th, according to the presidential order, MDIS Tashkent held hashar on its territory. The event involved representatives of the administration, who participated in the cleaning of the institute's territory.
Hashar was timed to the celebration of the twenty-sixth year of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the upcoming 10th Anniversary of MDIS Tashkent.
On Monday, August 14th, MDIS Tashkent students visited a forum named "Perspectives of domestic tourism in Uzbekistan and place of youth in it" that lasted for two days. The event was organised by the Youth Union in Shakhrisabs city and gave an opportunity to ambitious participants to share their ideas with the governmental and tourism industry representatives.
On 10th of August 2017, Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent (MDIS Tashkent) conducted a workshop with its staff members on the topic “We are against the corruption”.
In this workshop, the administration of MDIS Tashkent hosted a guest professor Feruza Muhitdinova from the Tashkent State University of Law, who discussed various levels of corruption and actions taken to prevent its further development.
On the 8th of August, 2017 MDIS Tashkent UniCampus held a meeting for an unoccupied youth and young families of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the topic “I am a leader too”.
On 2nd of August, MDIS Tashkent student Elyorbek Jumaboev received a special recycling system equipment from the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Ecology and Environmental Protection as a gift for MDIST for his ideas on environmental protection.
