6th Graduation Ceremony Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent

   6th Graduation Ceremony has taken place on October 20, 2016 at the premises of the Management development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent (MDIS Tashkent) under the title «Think Big, Dream Big! Achieve!».  Along with the ceremony at 1.00 pm a press conference was held with the representatives of University Partners such as University of Sunderland (UK) and Bangor University (UK).

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS BY THE RIO-2016 CHAMPIONS

It has been a tradition for MDIS Tashkent to invite famous people to the UniCampus for “Friday Talk” in order to improve both social life and education system. On this occasion, on October 14, group of Rio 2016 medalists visited MDIS Tashkent UniCampus to share their “Key success factors” as well as to motivate students for further development.

Boris Babayev’s visit

On the 7th of October, Boris Babaev, journalist, project manager at “Kultura.uz” paid a visit and conducted Friday Talk session dedicated to the movie “Big Heart of Tashkent” at MDIS Tashkent UniCampus .

The opening speech was delivered by the Dr. Jasur Salikhov and microphone was handed over to Mr. Boris Babaev, who talked about the exploits of Uzbek people during the World War 2 and the history of that time. Then event was preceded by the documentary film.  

Teacher's day

Education is the key to success and teachers make a lasting impact on the lives of their students. It is true that we all truly appreciate our teachers since the role of teachers is essential for each individual. They are the power that lightens every darkness.

Club's fair

The beginning of the every academic year has always been a busy schedule for every MDIS Tashkent student. In a list of students’ plans, Clubs Fair is one of the most expected and wanted one, which was held on 29th of September. Student council in association with relucent students organizes different squads for the welfare of student social life. This year it has been something alike, compared to latter years, more number of clubs were introduces to pupils.

STUDENT SUMMER TOUR 2016

MDIS Tashkent in collaboration with MDIS (Republic of Singapore) is launching different programmes to enhance the academic excellence. One of the aforementioned programmes is “Student Summer Tour” which has been running since 2015. The main target of organizing such an event is to embrace lifelong learning, ensure the students with high quality programmes and nurture new talents for future economic prosperity.

Orientation week 2016

Orientation week at MDIS Tashkent has started on the 19the of September. The schedule is composed of social and academic activities designed to introduce Foundation year students to academic and social life at MDIS Tashkent. Our diligent facilitators have conducted variety of interactive and informative sessions.

Honored the memory of the first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov

On the 19th of September, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent the lecture in honor of the memory of the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov was held. ORIENTATION FACILITATORS TRAINING 2016

Orientation Facilitators Training was conducted by MDIS Tashkent Administration from September 4, 2016 to September 9, 2016.Orientation Facilitators were instructed in the goal of helping new students to participate, build relationships, and generally transition smoothly into MDIS Tashkent. They received training in how to facilitate small group community building and how to run activities with clear purpose and objectives. Orientation Facilitators, who are the backbone of the Orientation Week, connect with new students and create a welcoming community during the O-Week.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Abduganievich Karimov

Islam Abduganievich Karimov was born on 30 January 1938 in Samarkand into a family of civil servants. He graduated from the Central Asian Polytechnic Institute and the Tashkent Institute of national economy, receiving degrees as an engineer-mechanic and economist.

He began work in 1960 at the “Tashselmash” (Tashkent agricultural machinery) plant. From 1961-66 he worked as an engineer, a leading engineer-constructor at the Tashkent aviation production complex.
