FACILITATORS 2014

The group of Junior and Senior Students (Year 1 & 2) is participating in the special Facilitators Training Programme, which will be held from the 04-07 September 2016. During the training sessions they will

  • learn new methods of conducting the ice-breaking and team-building activities,
  • Try to create the image of the Ideal student model of MDIS Tashkent,
  • learn the “secrets” of time management,
  • develop their strategic thinking and other skills, necessary to manage the new students during the Orientation Week 2016.

The facilitators will practice daily to develop their knowledge and skills. During the training sessions they will also try themselves in different areas, such as: journalism (taking interviews), art (creating their own portraits and symbols), music (singing songs), acting (playing different roles), poetry (writing poems) and certainly public speaking.

The main aim of the training is to guide facilitators by preparing them for The Orientation Week 2016, where they will help new students to easily adapt, act under new circumstances, reveal and expose their inner abilities and acquire first skills of team-work. As they say: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.

We believe, that the skills the new students will acquire during the Orientation Week 2016 with the help of our facilitators will be helpful for them for good.
