My Language is my Country

On October 25th, 2017, MDIS Tashkent invited honourable Uzbek journalists Xayrulla Hamidov and Akmal Mirzo. The meeting was dedicated to the 28th Anniversary of Uzbek language with motto “My language is my country”. The journalists urged the importance and historical significance of Uzbek language and they discussed how vital the role of Uzbek language is in history of Uzbekistan, philosophy, poetry and other cultural values. The guests also highlighted that young generation should recognize and admire the uniqueness and great history of our native language and never feel disconnected from it.  Students were delighted to share their views on importance of mother tongue and safeguarding its originality and beauty. The event was concluded with an interactive Q&A session.
