At the frames of “Student Summer Tour 2017” Programme 20 brightest students, who won the annual MDIST’ contest were given the opportunity to visit Singapore in September, 2017.

During their stay in Singapore, our students have gotten:

• the new knowledge by having three trainings with receiving special certificates respectively;
• new experience by learning Singapore’s economy, culture and traditions;
• the chance to explore the MDIS structure, history and formation;
• to get more friends among the students of MDIS.

Besides, our messengers have used the wonderful opportunity to introduce to local students and staff Uzbekistan by preparing bright presentation in the Tourism sphere. The presentation hall was crowded, especially when our students introduced the Uzbek traditions, such as “KELIN SALOM”, “UZBEK COUSINE” festive table and have Uzbek national music.

It turns to tradition when MDIS’ partners have provided our students with a varied entertainment programme and generous support during the trip. For instance, they got a chance to visit the key sights of Singapore, such as Universal Studio Singapore, Gardens by the Bay, Merlion Park, New Water plant. However, undoubtedly, the most valuable impressions were received by visiting the National Library of Singapore and MDIS campus.
