What is the history of MDIS Tashkent?

MDIS Tashkent is the first overseas campus of MDIS (Singapore), established in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 691 as of September 5, 2007. The Institute educates holistically developed and skilled human resources, nurtures highly motivated professionals in various spheres of the economy. By providing our students with high-quality tertiary education programmes that meet international education standards, we train specialists in the fields of economics, banking and finance, business management, tourism and hospitality, HRM, project management, IT, and fashion product development. How can I find information about HR policies and procedures?

The Human Resources department have a suite of policies and procedures (e.g. staff recruitment and selection, management of internal of affairs, arrangements for new staff arrival, resignation, conflicts of interest management for full-time & part-time staff members) available for the staff. MDIS Tashkent every year provides various training opportunities both to the academic staff and non-academic staff to ensure continuous professional development of its employees.

What procedures are available in the field of Health & Safety in the workplace?

MDIS Tashkent has several procedures regulating Health & Safety matters such as provision of first medical aid, registration of medical certificates, MDIS Tashkent safe management policy, fire safety, campus security services, etc.

What facilities are available to staff?

MDIS Tashkent Sport Centre has excellent indoor and outdoor sports facilities that are designed to suit the needs of the students.

Sport Centre provides a whole range of sports and fitness activities such as badminton, basketball, football, gymnastics, handball, swimming, tennis, ping-pong and volleyball. The indoor Sport Centre is a beautiful two-storey building consisting of a tennis court and an indoor stadium for handball, basketball, mini-football and volleyball with the capacity of 500 spectators. In addition to the gym which is located on the second floor of this complex, there is an Olympic sized indoor swimming pool.

Outdoor sport facilities include athletics track, basketball, volleyball courts and football field. The football field is laid with artificial grass where students can enjoy a full season of playing on a lush grass field. The Sport Centre provides basic amenities like changing rooms, cloakroom, shower rooms and a medical room.
