Overview

The Master of Business Administration (MBA), a flagship programme of the University of Sunderland (UK), is offered by MDIST with the three pathways:

 This programme develops both current and future leaders to successfully navigate the new world of business. With a focus on leadership and professional development, international business, digital skills, and sustainability, the MBA provides a comprehensive framework for students to explore current and future leadership challenges.

All of the modules on the MBA programmes will ensure that students are gaining authentic experience of challenging business issues and developing transferable skills for their future careers.

The MBA offers the standard 12-month MBA (180 credits) with an opportunity to specialise in Finance; Human Resource Management; Marketing.

Inspiring guest speakers, regular social events and opportunities to impact the local community are just some of the wider activities that MBA students can expect to be involved in as they embark on this exciting leadership journey.

2. Requirements to apply to the program

Applicants who wish to apply to the program must meet following minimum requirements:

a) Applicants are required to have a UK equivalent Bachelor’s degree in any subject area with a GPA of 2.5 or UK2:2;

b) Applicants must have IELTS certificate or MDIS English test result with overall score of 6.0 and above with each band not less than 5.5

c) Applicant must provide a Curriculum vitae/Resume with employment letter with a minimum of six (6) months of relevant professional and/or managerial experience for University of Sunderland.  (Where applicant does not specifically meet the academic level, applicant will be considered on a case-by-case basis where he/she can demonstrate advanced work experience of 5 years or more in a professional or managerial position);

d) For all UOS degree programs, applicants should apply via UOS online portal and upload the full-notarized education documents in English translation if they are in other languages (Uzbek/Russian)

 

English requirement can be waived subject to university approval for the applicants who possess one of the followings:

  • Degree awarded by accredited universities in English speaking countries where the whole program was taught and assessed in the English Language. (With a medium of instruction letter provided).
