MDIS Tashkent is truly an international academic community that brings together scholars, lecturers, and tutors from Singapore, Philippines, Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Russia, Turkey, Lebanon, Malaysia and others, which fosters creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. Besides the possibilities to study and undertake scientific research, everyone at MDIS Tashkent can engage in the fields of art and sports and participate in various voluntary activities.
MDIS Tashkent is open to everyone who wants to learn, discover, create, and implement ideas that serve the advancement of the nation and the state and the well-being of the entire community.
Finally, it is important to highlight the remarkable role of the Governing Council of MDIS and UBA, which contributed greatly to the establishment and formation of the Institute by recruiting a team of dedicated specialists and practitioners from diverse fields of management and science.
Our vision for the future
In the new academic year, MDIS Tashkent aims to implement several plans, including the following:
Introduction of new educational programs on the quality of education. After all, as the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, His Excellency Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, emphasized, improving the quality of education is the only way to develop New Uzbekistan.
Attracting experienced specialists to the education system provides an opportunity to supply fully qualified personnel to meet the requirements of the modern labor market. We want to achieve this by attracting experienced practical consultants from the Ministry of Finance and Economy, as well as from international financial institutions, namely the World Bank, European Investment Bank (EIB), International Monetary Fund (IMF), International Finance Corporation (IFC), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and other financial institutions, to the lectures and classes held at the institute.
Further expansion of educational opportunities in the educational system of the institute in accordance with international standards. We support academic stuff and students’ preliminary exams in globally recognized programmes such as ACCA, CFA, and others.
One of our main objectives is to strengthen the research capacity of the institute. Enhancing research capacity is planned by establishing the "Research Union", where more scholars with postgraduate degrees, especially PhDs and DScs, will be attracted and their research articles will be published in prestigious scientific journals. It is believed that the involvement of scholars will have a direct positive impact on improving the quality of education.
Creating conditions for our students to practice and improve their skills not only in local but also in international organizations, such as UNDP, UN, UNESCO, and other financial institutions;
We have set a goal to adequately stimulate their interest in sports by holding "Rector's Cups" among students in all types of sports;
The most gratifying thing is that now we plan to introduce scholarships from the heads of various organizations under the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Central Bank, commercial banks, and other ministries and organizations for the talented students of the institute;
Since our country is built on the principle of a "social state,", the highest goal is to increase human dignity. Therefore, we have planned to introduce social packages for teachers, professors, and employees of the institute. First of all, we want to create equal opportunities for the realization of human potential and the creation of the necessary conditions for people to live a decent life.
