PhD and DSc admissions for 2025 are now available. Apply online!

Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent announces admission for independent research (PhD, DSc) to scientific researchers.

No. 304 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated May 22, 2017

Development of Singapore management in Tashkent in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation "On Post-Higher Education", approved by the Resolution "On Measures to Further Improve the Post-Higher Education System" The institute announces admission to independent research (PhD, DSc) in the following specialties:

08.00.02 - "Macroeconomics";

08.00.07 - "Finance, money circulation and credit";

08.00.11 - "Marketing";

08.00.13 - "Management".

Documents for independent study (PhD, DSc) will be accepted from January 15 to February 15, 2025, through the single electronic system of the Agency for Innovative Development (http://daraja.ilmiy.uz).

List of documents for admission to PhD – Independent Research:

  • application;
  • brief biographical reference (lens);
  • a copy of a master's degree or higher education diploma (on a specialty program);
  • a certified copy of the workbook;
  • list of scientific works and their copy;
  • job description;
  • A letter of consent from the academic supervisor

Note: Individuals who have the following are eligible for independent research for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree:

- those who have a master's degree or a diploma of higher education (by specialty);

- those who have specified scientific articles (at least 1 article and 2 theses) are eligible.

Applicants for independent research are selected based on the interview results.

 

List of documents for admission to Independent Research - DSc:

  • application;
  • brief biographical reference (lens);
  • a certified copy of the workbook;
  • a copy of a diploma of higher education, a candidate of science or a doctor of philosophy (PhD), or an equivalent scientific degree in foreign countries;
  • list of published scientific works and their copies;
  • a scientific report on the research topic and a detailed draft of the doctoral dissertation plan prepared for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Science (DSc);
  • job description.
  • A letter of consent from the academic supervisor

 

Note: Independent research - DSc is open to those who have:

- candidate of science or doctor of philosophy (PhD), or equivalent scientific degrees obtained in foreign countries;

- publication in scientific journals that can form the basis of dissertation research for obtaining the scientific degree of candidate of science or doctor of philosophy (PhD), or other equivalent scientific degrees, including achieving significant scientific achievements, including obtaining the scientific degree of doctor of science (DSc) to have at least three published scientific articles and at least two theses in scientific-practical conferences, seminars, and collections of scientific works on relevant scientific fields.

According to the PhD interview results, if the final scores of more than one candidate are equal, priority will be given to the following candidates:

  • those who have more than 5 years of scientific and pedagogical experience;
  • holders of copyright certificates and patents;
  • monographs (for social and humanitarian sciences), for those who have a large number of scientific articles (compared to other applicants) published in relevant scientific journals, including foreign journals, on the subject of the applicant's dissertation;
  • completed more than 50 percent of the dissertation research.

Independent search - applicants for DSc are interviewed by the admissions committee.
