Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, Education, or a related field.
- Experience working in an academic library or learning resource center is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in the use of library management software and information technologies.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to professional development.
- Bilingualism is mandatory (English, Uzbek, and Russian).
- At least 3 years of experience in this field
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Learning Resource Centre, ensuring a conducive environment for learning and research.
- Manage the acquisition, organization, and accessibility of learning resources, including books, journals, e-resources, and multimedia materials.
- Assist students and faculty in locating and utilizing resources effectively.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on information literacy, research skills, and the use of learning resources.
- Collaborate with academic departments to identify and meet the resource needs of various programs.
- Implement and maintain resource management systems and technologies.
- Supervise the maintenance of the Learning Resource Centre's physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and inviting environment.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of initiatives to enhance the services of the Learning Resource Centre.
Job Type:
Full-time position. Work schedule Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
