On the occasion of May 9th, the Day of Remembrance and Honour, the MDIS Tashkent team visited the WW II and labour veterans living in Dombirabad and Mekhrjon neighbourhoods of the Chilanzor district of our capital. Our ageing veterans expressed gratitude for today's peaceful days and emphasised the need to value peace. They were also grateful that veterans are always shown special respect and affection in our country. It is worth noting that the sacrifices and heroism of our great ancestors, war and labour veterans, are an indelible mark in history and a great lesson for present and future generations.
